I am a life long artist. I was born in Germany and spent the first 6 years of my life there. In 1972, my family and I migrated to America. We settled in my fathers' hometown of Winston-Salem, NC. Starting at the age of 10, I went back to Germany for visits with my Grandfather in the summer, where he gave me my first art lessons.  He was a hobby painter and we painted together. At 13, I had the privilege of visiting Paris where I perused the halls of the Louvre and Pompidou. I ended up finishing high school at NC School of the Arts and after wandering from the NCSU Design School to ECSU Art School I finally settled in NYC and  received a BFA from Parsons School of Design. I have been pursuing a life in art ever since.
