Emily Tallman is a native of Bristol Virginia and has always been active in the arts!
She went to Virginia Intermont College for a BA in Art Education and East Tennessee State University for a MA in Early Childhood Special Education.
She taught Art and Photography for five years at Sullivan East High School, and is going into her fifth year of teaching Art and Ceramics at John S. Battle High School. She is beyond blessed to have the opportunity to combine her passion for art and for teaching every single day!
Her style of art is a play on both realism and expressionism. She enjoys under paintings, visible brushwork, and vibrant colors. While acrylic painting is her medium of choice, she loves watercolor, pencil drawings, film and digital photography, and printmaking.
