Angela Wills

Angela was born and raised in Bristol, Tennessee. She has been dabbling in creative activities for as long as she can remember. However, her favorite hobby has always been sewing. Her grandmother, Pauline Wills, a very talented seamstress, taught Angela everything she knows about needlework. Some of Angela’s fondest childhood memories are inside of her grandmother’s giant sewing room. It was probably never that big but as a small child, it looked enormous to her. Angela learned to stitch using her great grandmother’s vintage foot peddle Singer machine. Angela continues to sew in memory of her grandmother who is no longer physically with her. One of Pauline’s favorite warnings was that “when you get to heaven, you have to pick every stitch that you sew on Sundays out with your nose.” Angela often imagines that her grandmother is busy in heaven right now removing those stitches with her nose and realizes that one day she will join her.
